Beginning of Time
In the beginning there was nothing. There was no void, there was no darkness, there was only nothing. Within the most secretive and obscure libraries of the worlds, powerful wizards keep tomes that hint at a school of magic that has been left untouched for millennia. Chronomancy is the school focused on time travel. Some scholars believe that it is due to the magic of time that the multiverse appeared. In one of the universes of the multiverse the nothingness became a void, a playground for countless worlds, a place meant for their pleasures, a place for them to seek out a new home in the vastness of space. One world, followed by a great star, found its way to where the sun now floats today.
The Chronomancy tomes tell of a powerful order of temporal wizards known as the Order of the Moon. Temporal agents from the order were sent back to the beginning of time to find out why we exist and where we come from. Travelling so far back in time require power beyond even that of angels and unfortunately the temporal rituals caused a great cataclysm that destroyed the world. From the fragments of the world appeared a circular moon and two flat worlds, the worlds of Aspenta and Aresia, along with countless asteroids, meteorites, and other smaller uninhabitable worlds. Although the cataclysm had only destroyed the world, it had affected the entire universe, so that life became possible. Worlds were now unable to travel between the stars; they had been anchored to their nearest sun. Portals throughout the multiverse opened as rifts caused by the cataclysm formed in the vastness of space. Soon, the universe became, as it is known today.
